Medicinal Uses for Essential Oils

ESSENTIAL OILS ONLY! Perfume oil and Synthetic oils are not the same thing!

Abrasions

6 Drops of Lavender oil

Clean the effected area well with 5 drops of diluted lavender.
Place the oil in a small bowl with warm water and gently mix.
Apply one drop of undiluted lavender directly to the abrasion
from the bottle and leave to promote healing.

2 Drops of Tea Tree oil

Apply the oil directly to the effected area to promote healing.
This oil is also a very good oil to use when there are
burns or scalding.
Athlete's Foot - Soak

3 Drops of Lavender oil
2 Drops of Tea Tree or Eucalyptus oil
4 oz hot water

Soak feet in water for at least 15 minutes.

Athlete's Foot - or Ringworm

1 Drop of Lavender oil
2 drops of Tea Tree oil
1 tsp base oil

Stir and apply to the effected area with cotton balls or a
cotton swab.

Anxiety

4 Drops of Bergamot oil
4 Drops of Geranium oil
4 Drops of Lavender oil

All of these help to alleviate anxiety and depression.
Use the mix in a room diffuser. You can also mix 6-8
drops of this blend into a bath.

Baby Massage

1 Drop of Roman Chamomile oil
1 Drop of Lavender oil
1 Drop of Geranium oil
2 Tablespoons of Sweet Almond oil

Burns (Minor)

2 Drops of Lavender oil

Immediately after receiving the burn apply ice cold
water for 10 minutes.After the 10 minutes apply 2
drops of undiluted lavender to the burn.

Burns or Bruises

Apply Pure Lavender oil on the affected area.

Open Chest - and Sinus

5 Drops of Bergamot oil
12 Drops of Eucalyptus oil
3 Drops of Lavender oil
5 Drops of Sage oil
3 Drops of Sweet Bail oil
3 Drops of peppermint oil

Blend all the oils together, then use 5-7 drops of
the mixture in a diffuser. The aroma can also be
inhaled straight from the vial. If you plan to inhale
the aroma straight from the bottle you may with to
leave out the Eucalyptus.

Colds

3 Drops of Eucalyptus
2 Drops of Lavender oil
2 Drops of Rosemary oil
2 Tablespoons of milk or cream

Pour the mixture into a bath and soak for at
least 15 minutes.

Colds

2 Drops of Lemon oil
2 Drops of Pine oil
3 Drops of Tea Tree oil

Pour the oil mixture into a bath and soak for at
least 15 minutes.

Concentration/Focus

6 Drops of Basil
6 Drops of Castus oil
6 Drops of Lemon oil
6 Drops of Melissa oil
6 Drops of Peppermint oil
6 Drops of Rosemary oil

Place the mixture in a diffuser and diffuse the
oils into the room.

Cramps/ Spasms

Roman Chamomile oil

Apply a few drops of the oil onto the affected
area.

Dermatitis

4 Drops of Geranium oil
2 Drops of Juniper oil1
2 Drops of Lavender oil

Pour the oil mixture into a warm bath and soak
in the water.

Dull Aching Pains

3 Drops of Roman Chamomile oil
1 Teaspoon of Sweet Almond oil

Apply the mixture onto the affected area.

Eczema

Daily for up to 2 weeks, apply pure Lavender oil
on the affected area

Eczema Massage

20 ml Carrier oil
3 Drops of Bergamot oil
3 Drops of Geranium oil
6 Drops of Juniper oil
3 Drops of Lavender oil

Fever

1 Drop of Eucalyptus oil
1 Drop of Lavender oil
1 Drop of Peppermint oil

Add the mixture to a bowl of cold water and
sponge the body to bring a fever down.

Hair Loss

2 Drops of Lavender oil
1 Drop of Rosemary oil
1 Tablespoon of Olive oil

Use this mixture twice a day as a massage
oil for your scalp.

Hangovers

Carrot oil
Cedarwood oil
Fennel oil
Grapefruit oil
Lavender oil
Lemon oil
Juniper oil
Rosemary oil

Mix your own blend using any of these oils.
Put 6-8 of your personal blend in a bath to
lessen the effects of a Hangover.
