Secret Tears

Where do the tears go?
When they have never even fallen.
Never caressed your flushed cheeks,
or kissed your soft red lips.

Falling quietly behind closed eye lids,
Into the caverns of the heart.
Pooling up inside the empty walls,
filling up, with the threat to engulf you.

Swimming through the salty water,
Your quiet torture unfolds.
Deep within quiet caverns
With secret stories untold.
