The Pearl

As a child she was neglected and abused
As a teen she was raped and misused
Now an adult and not much has changed 
For now she feels as if her life has been rearranged
 
Can the pain of a lifetime ever go
Or will it continue and destroy her slow
She needs away to heal her past
Cause the pain just seems to linger and last

Hopefully one day she'll finally heal
Than the outer image will start to peal
For inside blooms a lovely girl
One that's more than precious than the rarest pearl

Hopefully you will be her lucky man
For she will show you love like no one else can
For she is obviously an angel from above
And you'll never want to lose her love
