Occuring in late July and early August Lammas, or Lughnasadh is a time to prepare
your household for fall and the upcoming Winter. It marks the height of Summer and
the beginning of the harvest. It is a time of bounty, celebration and hopes for an
abundent harvest season, this means in the harvest of the land and our own life's
harvests. Lammas is the time of preparation for the dark seasons to come. At this
point in the year the Sun Gods life is waning, and the Goddess is full of abundance.
Even as he weakens, he grows inside her as her child.
