Candlemas is the festival of spritual deciation, fertility and purification.
Also known as Imbolc, Groundhog's Day, and Brigid's Day; Candlemas occurs at the beginning of February and marks the middle of Winter and the promise of Spring. This is when the Goddess manifests as the Maiden Brigid and the groundhog is the
manifestation of the Gods.
