The Winter Solstice is also known as Yule, Christmas, or Saturnalia.
Occurring in the middle December it is for celebrating the beginning of Winter
and birth of the new Solar year. At this time the Goddess appears as the Great Mother
with the God as her Sun child. The Winter Solstice is a festival of inner renewal
and rebirth.
